Dr. Bel was really pleased with Johnny so far. He is staying on track pretty well and has "plumped" up some from his last visit with her. He weighed in at 10 pounds 14 ounces and is 22.75 inches long. On the Down syndrome growth chart this puts him at 50th and 66th percentile respectively and on the regular chart this puts him at the 21st and 31st percentile respectively. That is so exciting to me. I really wanted him to be measurable on the regular chart and he is! She was happy to hear what he is doing physically and how well he is eating and sleeping so there wasn't much for us to take in to work on until our next appointment. He handled his vaccines like a champ and hardly cried when he got all three. He almost spit up his oral vaccine on the nurse, but managed to hold it all in with minimal hacking. We will have more news later this month on his hearing, until then we just need to keep doing what we are doing!
